One of my best friends, Jackie, has been to Africa a number of times with various non-profit organizations. Last summer she took a women's high school soccer team to Uganda with the program called 'Goals for Girls' I'm not sure if that was when she got this fun African fabric or not, but I decided to piece it together as a wall hanging, or a dresser-topper thingy (whatever). I just cut out 5 inch squares, sewed them all together, then did a large wandering stitch to secure the batting and backing in place, and bound it.
