I hosted a weekend event for a youth group (girls 12&13 years old) and one of the focuses of the weekend was celebrating each girl's uniqueness and individuality. To help get the point across I decided to make them each an individual journal that they could keep as a reminder of our weekend.
I found this tutorial on the fabulous V&Co blog and man did I master the art of book covering. I think I ended up making 11 total. Whew. The best part about it was using up all my old scraps (can you believe I didn't buy ANY fabric for these??) Here are a few ideas of design & color scheme.
